With a new deck design, the mak7 Race can be more recognized as a regatta yacht. It has a sleek look yet carries similar characteristics to its sister yacht.
Hull, rigg and keel remain unchanged. Differences are in the cockpit layout, the benches reduced to make way for the traveler which comes standard with the yacht. The cabin is slightly more narrow. On the floor of the cockpit are supports to get a good foothold while heeling and sailing through high waves.
The open cockpit allows a wider range of mobility for fast maneuvers.
